After releasing the &#8220;iPhone killer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/tag\/tg01\/\">TG01<\/a>&#8221; on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/2009\/09\/03\/toshiba-tg01-to-get-the-winmo-65-treatment\/\">WinMo 6.5 last year<\/a>, the company announced another Windows Mobile-based cell phone in Japan today (Toshiba is one of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/2010\/02\/15\/microsoft-announces-windows-mobile-7-now-officially-dubbed-windows-phone\/\">Microsoft&#8217;s official &#8220;Mobile Partners&#8221;<\/a>, after all).<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-28588\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/2010\/03\/30\/k01-toshiba-to-roll-out-super-slim-windows-mobile-slider-phone\/iso_02_2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28588\" title=\"iso_02_2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/iso_02_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"558\" height=\"355\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Toshiba&#8217;s K01 will be marketed as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.toshiba.co.jp\/about\/press\/2010_03\/pr_j3001.htm\">ISO02 in Japan<\/a> [JP] and is a Windows 6.5.3 phone, to be more exact.<\/p>\n<p>These are the main features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Snapdragon processor (1GHz)<\/li>\n<li> 4.1-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (480\u00d7800 resolution)<\/li>\n<li> 3G CDMA module<\/li>\n<li> slider QWERTY keyboard<\/li>\n<li> RAM 384MB<\/li>\n<li> ROM 512MB<\/li>\n<li> 3.2MP CMOS camera<\/li>\n<li> IEEE802.11b\/g Wifi<\/li>\n<li> Bluetooth 2.0+EDR<\/li>\n<li> weight: 158g<\/li>\n<li> size: 66\u00d7123\u00d712.9mm (Toshiba says it&#8217;s the slimmest QWERTY slider out there)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-28589\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/2010\/03\/30\/k01-toshiba-to-roll-out-super-slim-windows-mobile-slider-phone\/iso_02_3\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28589\" title=\"iso_02_3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/iso_02_3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"511\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The K01 was showcased earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.engadget.com\/2010\/03\/29\/toshibas-qwerty-equipped-k01-slides-through-the-fcc\/\">cleared  the FCC yesterday<\/a> and is announced in Japan for June.
