How could readers not be disgusted and seethe against the oppressors \u2014 Israel?<\/p>\n<p>Not so fast. Is strapping shrapnel-laden explosives on your children to murder other people\u2019s children compatible with Islam? Is launching 6,000 rockets against innocent civilians compatible with Islam? Any reporter in 1945 could write sympathetic articles about the Germans or the Japanese. They would be heartfelt and even more heart rending.
