Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) has called a press conference for 11 a.m. ET in San Antonio and is expected to announce whether she will stay in the Senate for the rest of her term, the <a  rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.statesman.com\/blogs\/content\/shared-gen\/blogs\/austin\/politics\/entries\/2010\/03\/30\/big_announcement_coming_from_h.html\">Austin American-Statesman<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n<p>  Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) &#8220;will join her for the announcement. Cornyn <a  rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/JohnCornyn\/status\/11345344412\">confirmed<\/a> on Twitter that he would be on hand but did not elaborate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>  Hutchison said last fall that she would resign her Senate seat after the March primary for governor, but it&#8217;s unlikely McConnell would be on hand if she were planning to follow through on those plans.<\/p>\n<p><a  rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com\/archives\/2010\/03\/hutchison_will.php\">The Hotline<\/a> reports Hutchison will serve out the final two years of her terms. <br \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/~r\/PoliticalWire\/~4\/8-Ku58gkYDk\" height=\"1\" width=\"1\"\/>             <\/p>\n<p><a  rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/PoliticalWire\/~3\/EzCYKUQl970\/democrats_gain_in_ohio.html\" >Democrats Gain in Ohio             <\/a><br \/>A new <a  rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.quinnipiac.edu\/x1284.xml?ReleaseID=1440&amp;What=&amp;strArea=;&amp;strTime=0\">Quinnipiac poll<\/a> finds that Democrats are having a mini-surge in Ohio and now lead in both the U.S. Senate and Governor&#8217;s races.<\/p>\n<p>  In the Senate race, Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher (D) leads Rob Portman (R) 41% to 37%, reversing a three point Portman lead in February.  Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner (D) also edges Portman, 38% to 37%, reversing a five point Portman lead.<\/p>\n<p>  In the gubernatorial race, Gov.
