MIAMI – Sen.Tom Coburn (R-OK)\u00a0is endorsing Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate this morning, FOX has learned. Rubio is battling\u00a0 Gov. Charlie Crist,\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0contentious\u00a0 Florida\u00a0GOP\u00a0primary\u00a0for\u00a0the position.<\/p>\n
“From the \u2018Bridge to Nowhere\u2019 to the \u2018Woodstock Museum,\u2019 I\u2019ve\u00a0 fought all kinds of wasteful spending throughout my career.\u00a0 But in my lifetime, I\u2019ve never seen as wasteful a spending project as the failed $787 billion stimulus bill that Marco\u2019s opponents supported,\u201d Coburn\u00a0said in a release. “I have closely studied Florida\u2019s Senate candidates and have no doubt that Marco Rubio is the only fiscal conservative in this race.”<\/p>\n
