We get to see all the best that the automotive world has to offer and then some. Yes, some things are better than others but for the most part the stuff here is pretty cool. I was walking through the lower level of the Javits Center when I noticed a sign for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.NMEDA.org\">NMEDA.org<\/a>. NMEDA stands for &#8220;National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-42131\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/nmeda-org-puts-the-mobile-back-in-mobility\/img_1330\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-42134\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1330.jpg\" alt=\"NMEDA\" title=\"IMG_1330\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-42134\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Their website states:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;NMEDA is a non-profit trade association of mobility equipment dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists, and other professionals dedicated to broadening the opportunities for people with disabilities to drive or be transported in vehicles modified with mobility equipment. All members work together to improve transportation options of people with disabilities.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/nmeda-org-puts-the-mobile-back-in-mobility\/img_1334\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-42135\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1334.jpg\" alt=\"NMEDA\" title=\"IMG_1334\" width=\"500\" height=\"666\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-42135\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They had multiple vehicles on display, but one in particular caught my eye. This trike was constructed so that the rider never has to leave the comfort and safety of their chair. It has a rear ramp that folds down allowing access, along with a locking mechanism on the trikes floor to safely secure the riders chair in place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/nmeda-org-puts-the-mobile-back-in-mobility\/img_1336\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-42136\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_1336.jpg\" alt=\"NMEDA\" title=\"IMG_1336\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-42136\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What I like most about this vehicle though, is the ease of usability that it grants the rider. Controls are relatively standard and easy to use, all gauges were clearly visible and 3 wheel disc brakes were in place for safety.
