A former American Idol<\/em> hopeful is getting a second shot at stardom.<\/p>\n Alex Lambert, the shy but stirring vocalist who saw his Idol dreams dashed earlier this season, has joined the cast of If I Can Dream<\/em>, the online series from Idol<\/em> creator Simon Fuller that debuted on the web earlier this month. Alex will now be a part of what 19 Entertainment calls a \u201ctalent discovery platform.”<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The show follows five young people \u2014 three actors, a musician, and a model \u2014 living under one roof and hoping for success in a City of Big Dreams; Hollywood.
