I&#8217;m not sure if this is a good thing or not. I&#8217;ve been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old. The idea that I now must wear a second pair of glasses in order to read seems somewhat bizarre.<\/p>\n<p>The following excerpt is from the blog post:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/booksearch.blogspot.com\/2010\/03\/3d-books-google-books-now-offers.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.genealogyblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/3-d-at-google-books.jpg\" alt=\"3D at Google Books\" title=\"3D at Google Books\" width=\"250\" height=\"175\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8158\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>These days, 3D seems to be everywhere. From Hollywood blockbusters to LCD televisions, those iconic cardboard glasses seem to be everywhere, even on President Obama. Our friends at YouTube released <a href=\"http:\/\/youtube-global.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/now-in-3d-join-experiment-with-us.html\">a 3D experiment<\/a>, and NASA released <a href=\"http:\/\/youtube-global.blogspot.com\/2009\/07\/now-in-3d-join-experiment-with-us.html\">3D images from the Mars rovers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This got a few of us on the Google Books team to thinking: why not offer our books in 3D? So we&#8217;ve done exactly that.
