Position description:
\nAs Senior Electrical Engineer the candidate is responsible for the electrical system, manages electrical aspects of the turbine certification, and leads the electrical engineering team.<\/p>\n
Tasks and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Prepare, define and specify the components like pitch system, generator, converter and transformer
\nSupport and coordinate the type certification
\nCreate LV wiring diagrams
\nDefine and specify testing requirements
\nLead component First Piece Qualifications (FPQ’s)
\nSupport and assist turbine commissioning
\nCooperate with mechanical engineering, MV engineering and controls teams
\nManage projects outsourced to external support engineers; maintains technical contact with component suppliers<\/p>\n
Education:<\/p>\n
Advanced degree (MSc) in Electrical Engineering or in a closely related discipline<\/p>\n
Working experience:<\/p>\n
10+ Years of relevant working experience with the design of the electrical drive train for wind turbines
\nFundamental knowledge of the components (market, suppliers, products, functions)
\nWorking knowledge of turbine commissioning and quality requirements<\/p>\n
Personal skills:<\/p>\n
Good organizational and communication skills and be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers
\nSelf-starter and pro-active problem solver<\/p>\n
Software skills:<\/p>\n
MS Office programs
\nDatabase software<\/p>\n
Language skills:<\/p>\n
Good command of business English, written and spoken
\nCommand of German language is beneficial
