[\u201cFerguson takes aim at attorney general,\u201d Opinion, March 27.]<\/p>\n<p>Ferguson ignores the state constitution; the attorney general is independently elected to be the people\u2019s lawyer and in this matter, the great majority of the people support Rob McKenna in challenging the health-care-reform bill\u2019s massive expansion of federal government power.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t want an attorney general who is merely a mindless tool for the governor or the Legislature, which is what Ferguson sounds like he would be.<\/p>\n<p>As County Council chairman, Ferguson has so far been ineffective in pushing any reforms desperately needed to reduce the bloated government in King County.
