[\u201cGays can now check \u2018husband or wife,\u2019\u201d page one, March 31.]<\/p>\n<p>These items were part of earlier censuses. If the census is going to be used to determine the apportionment of representation and monies in this nation, how can that be done correctly if you do not know who is a citizen of this country and who is a \u201cvisitor\u201d?
