These gravity referenced, closed loop sensors can reliably monitor acceleration down to 20 micro g, while withstanding mechanical shock levels of up to 1,500 g.  Sensors are housed in a rugged, anodized aluminum alloy case, and can be specified with a military style connector or solder pin electrical termination.
