Is there a feud brewing between American Idol\u2019s<\/em> Simon Cowell and Dancing With The Stars<\/em> judge Len Goodman?<\/p>\n

Cowell attracted headlines this week after he threw a subliminal diss at the “old-fashioned” ABC reality dance competition while critiquing a contestant’s performance on Tuesday’s show.<\/p>\n

On this week’s Idol<\/em>, Top 10 finalist Didi Benami performed a disatrous rendition of \u201cWhat Becomes Of The Broken Hearted,\u201d a performance which ultimately got the aspiring star sent home, but not before Simon slammed her and Dancing With The Stars.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you listen to one of those dancing shows, they always have a singer murdering a song on it,\u201d<\/em> Simon retorted. \u201cThat\u2019s what it kind of \u2014 if you\u2019ve ever watch it \u2013 that\u2019s what it kind of sounded [like].\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Goodman — who is an Idol fan — didn’t appreciate the slam and sounded off on Simon’s remarks in an interview with Access Hollywood<\/em> on Thursday. <\/p>\n

“He’s bitter. Honestly, he’s bitter. Simon Cowell is bitter,”<\/em> Len told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush. “As far as I’m concerned, those singers are genius. When you watch what they have to go through \u2013 hip-hop, light operatic, anything thrown at them, they’re brilliant. I love that band and I love those singers and I didn’t mind Simon Cowell until this point.”<\/em><\/p>\n
