{"id":510862,"date":"2010-04-03T19:57:54","date_gmt":"2010-04-03T23:57:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.szone.us\/f20\/weight-watchers-endorses-mcdonalds-41818\/"},"modified":"2010-04-03T19:57:54","modified_gmt":"2010-04-03T23:57:54","slug":"weight-watchers-endorses-mcdonalds-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/510862","title":{"rendered":"Weight Watchers endorses McDonald&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><b>Weight Watchers endorses McDonald&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p><\/b>I could spend all day listing the problems with the Weight Watchers &quot;lifestyle.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>But I don&#8217;t have to bother &#8212; because now I&#8217;ve got just two words that sum it all up: Chicken McNuggets.<\/p>\n<p>The infamous diet cult has teamed up with McDonald&#8217;s in New Zealand, slapping their logo on approved meals: the six-piece McNugget, Filet-O-Fish and some awful-sounding thing called a Sweet Chilli Seared Chicken Wrap.<\/p>\n<p>Blech.<\/p>\n<p>These meals &#8212; which include diet soda and a salad &#8212; are each worth 6.5 &quot;points&quot; in Weight Watchers&#8217; bizarre food rationing system, which allows people to eat any hunk of junk they want if they stay within their daily point targets.<\/p>\n<p>With dieters allowed between 18 and 40 points per day, that means you could eat up to 36 Chicken McNuggets &#8212; along with six salads and six sodas &#8212; every single day, and still be faithful to your Weight Watchers &quot;diet.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s not all! Don&#8217;t forget, Weight Watchers allows members to &quot;earn&quot; more points by exercising&#8230; so why stop at 36 McNuggets?
