Now that work is being recognized with a Los<br \/>\nAngeles Conservancy Preservation Award.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br>The Hollywood Bungalow<br \/>\nCourts project is one of eight that the conservancy recognized. One<br \/>\nother residential project, the Rudolph Schindler Bubeshko Apartments in<br \/>\nSilver Lake, also was honored.<br \/><\/br><br \/><\/br><\/p>\n<p>In Hollywood, three bungalow<br \/>\ncourts on Serrano Avenue were to be replaced with condominiums, but the<br \/>\nCommunity Redevelopment Agency stepped in, and they were spared, along<br \/>\nwith a bungalow court on Kingsley Drive. All were Mission Revival and<br \/>\nSpanish Colonial Revival in style, with central courtyards.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/br><\/p>\n<p>Original<br \/>\ndetails, including pull-down tables, were kept.
