The Eastsider LA is reporting<\/a> that after last year’s cancellation of the Echo Park Lotus Festival, the event will return in July to Echo Park Lake. <\/p>\n The event may be smaller than residents remember because of budget constraints; organizers need to raise $80,000 to cover the costs of the festival, the Eastsider reports. Here’s an excerpt from the story: <\/p>\n There are plans for live entertainment, food and craft sales, Dragon Boat races and a large section for community booths.
