You can buy sneakers, purses, shirts, and even jewelry this way, or if you&#8217;re feeling really DIY you can go to a site like Ponoko or Shapeways and <a href=\"http:\/\/images.businessweek.com\/ss\/10\/04\/0401_design_it_yourself\/6.htm\">have product parts made to order<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not necessarily any cheaper to go this route instead of a mass-produced item. A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/scurzuzu\/4173363006\/in\/set-72157622844189807\/\">custom stand<\/a> I built for my iPhone using Ponoko cost me $22 after I included shipping, for example.
