We&#8217;ve gone over plenty of these in our previous <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbgeeks.com\/information\/quick-tips\/\">BlackBerry quick tips<\/a>. There are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbgeeks.com\/quick-tips\/home-screen-shortcuts-on-your-qwerty-blackberry-881547\/\">home screen shortcuts<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbgeeks.com\/quick-tips\/blackberry-browser-shortcut-keys-881065\/\">browser shortcuts<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbgeeks.com\/quick-tips\/blackberry-message-screen-shortcuts-881994\/\">message screen shortcuts<\/a>, and many more. In fact, I find it a bit frustrating, sometimes, when I try a new application that seems like it should have shortcuts but does not (including some Twitter apps). I noticed that in the message screen tips, we didn&#8217;t cover shortcuts within the message. So we&#8217;ll go over that, and then add to the message screen shortcuts.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><b>Inside a message<\/b><\/p>\n<p>When you&#8217;re inside a BlackBerry email, you can use the following shortcut keys:<\/p>\n<p><b>R: <\/b>Reply<\/p>\n<p><b>L: <\/b>Reply All<\/p>\n<p><b>F: <\/b>Forward message<\/p>\n<p><b>I: <\/b>File a message in a folder<\/p>\n<p><b>Q: <\/b>When your cursor is over a sender or recipient, this shows their email address<\/p>\n<p><b>T: <\/b>Top of message<\/p>\n<p><b>B: <\/b>Bottom of message<\/p>\n<p><b>S: <\/b>Search for text within a message<\/p>\n<p><b>G: <\/b>Move the cursor to the last position in a received message<\/p>\n<p><b>On the message list<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In addition to T going to the top and B going to the bottom\u2026<\/p>\n<p><b>Alt + U: <\/b>Mark a message read or unread<\/p>\n<p><b>C: <\/b>Compose message<\/p>\n<p><b>Alt + I: <\/b>View received messages \/ incoming calls<\/p>\n<p><b>Alt + O: <\/b>View sent messages \/ outgoing calls<\/p>\n<p><b>Alt + S: <\/b>View SMS logs<\/p>\n<p><b>Alt + P: <\/b>View call logs<\/p>\n<p><b>Alt + V: <\/b>View voicemail<\/p>\n<p><b>U: <\/b>Scroll to the next unread message<\/p>\n<p><b>J: <\/b>Move to the next related message (in a Re: thread)<\/p>\n<p><b>K: <\/b>Move to the previous related message<\/p>\n<p><b>N: <\/b>Next date<\/p>\n<p><b>P: <\/b>Previous date<\/p>\n<p>To exit any specialty screen (SMS, received calls, etc.), hit the escape key.
