With all this talk about the general election and getting people out to vote if you are under 18 and can\u2019t vote in this election you may be wondering how you can make a difference and take action on some of the big issues affecting the world including; climate change, Aid and ensuring that people everywhere get access to good quality education and healthcare. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Well there are a number of ways for you to be involved: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Set up a Youth Action Group in your school or college. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Moved by the state of the world? <\/span><\/p>\n

Outspoken about what’s unfair? <\/span><\/p>\n

Excited about making a difference?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Oxfam is looking for motivated young people like you to help trial a new project \u2013 Youth Action Groups \u2013 and get skilled up and active as campaigners on international poverty issues. <\/span><\/p>\n

Starting a Youth Action Group is your chance to join a movement for change. Oxfam is a vibrant global movement of dedicated people fighting poverty. Together. Doing amazing work. Together. People power drives everything we do. And we want you to join us.<\/span><\/p>\n

From making a video message, to designing posters, to inviting your local MP to school, working with others in a Youth Action Group won\u2019t just help you build your skills, you\u2019ll have a real impact raising the profile of crucial issues in your school and community too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Join the Youth Board <\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

We are looking for people aged 16-18 to our Midlands Youth Board. <\/span><\/p>\n

Determined Passionate and full of ideas, you\u2019ll play a part in developing fun campaigning projects aimed at making a fairer world possible. <\/span><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need to know anything about campaigning already, you just need the enthusiasm to learn all about it, and the get-up-an-do to put those ideas into action. You\u2019ll get an insiders experience of a big UK charity and the chance to sharpen your skills in communication and teamwork. Whatever is your burning issue \u2013 make it theirs. We\u2019ll be joined by Conservative MP Edward Garnier<\/span><\/a>, Labour MP Andy Reed<\/span><\/a>, Lib Dem Peter Colley<\/span><\/a> and a representative from The Green Party.
