{"id":518419,"date":"2010-04-06T12:00:51","date_gmt":"2010-04-06T16:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.campaignforliberty.com\/blog.php?view=34352"},"modified":"2010-04-06T12:00:51","modified_gmt":"2010-04-06T16:00:51","slug":"victory-for-internet-freedom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/518419","title":{"rendered":"Victory for Internet Freedom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Jesse Benton<\/p>\n<p>Courts have ruled against so-called &#8220;net neutrality,&#8221; keeping the governements hands off the internet, at least for the time being.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>A federal appeals court has ruled that the Federal Communications  Commission lacks the authority to require broadband providers to give  equal treatment to all Internet traffic flowing over their networks.<\/p>\n<p> Tuesday&#8217;s ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of  Columbia is a big victory for Comcast Corp., the nation&#8217;s largest cable  company.
