Actress Winona Ryder is set to launch a comeback by playing funnyman Kevin James’ adulterous wife in a still-untitled comedy directed by Ron Howard and featuring Vince Vaughn, Entertainment Weekly<\/em> said this week. <\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The Little Women<\/em> star — one of the highest-paid stars of the ’80s & ’90s — hasn’t appeared on the big screen since landing a bit role playing Spock’s mother in Star Trek<\/em> last year.<\/p>\n

Winona nailed the part — and torpedoed fellow actresses Carla Gugino, Kate Beckinsale, and Uma Thurman — after wowing producers in a two-part audition.<\/p>\n

Filming is set to begin in Chicago, Illinois in May.<\/p>\n
