While researchers over the globe are working on new battery technology that could store more energy, there are a few manufacturers who\u2019ve tried out a different technique \u2013 swappable batteries. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/04\/07\/yogo_2_wBGvl_69.jpg\" alt=\"yogo_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>British company <a href=\"http:\/\/econogoelectricscooters.co.uk\/\">Econogo<\/a> thinks that swappable batteries can answer the prayers of all those longing for a clean, zero-emission vehicle and has unveiled the Yogo. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.interfacehostingfour.co.uk\/~econogo\/product.php\/2\/0\/Yogo\">Yogo<\/a> is an all-electric scooter that is being claimed to be the world\u2019s first electric scooter with swappable batteries. The 11kg battery pack can power the Yogo for 22 miles and if you carry a spare battery along, you can obviously double the range.
