At the 2010 New York Auto Show<\/a> last week, Mitsubishi Motors North America CEO Shinichi Kurihara announced that the Japanese automaker is planning an all-new compact car that will hit markets in 2012.<\/p>\n

The new model will be a little smaller than the size of the European B-segment and will fit below the brand’s Lancer mode.<\/p>\n

The car will be launched on a global scale and will be powered by a small 1.2L or 1.3L 4-cylinder engine.<\/p>\n
