{"id":519449,"date":"2010-04-07T08:23:00","date_gmt":"2010-04-07T12:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"e2249889-c78b-43e3-9643-b1d7d4aa587b:419753"},"modified":"2010-04-07T08:23:00","modified_gmt":"2010-04-07T12:23:00","slug":"ubs-raises-bombardier-to-a-buy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/519449","title":{"rendered":"UBS raises Bombardier to a &#8216;buy&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">The recent pullback in the valuation of Bombardier Inc. has led the Montreal manufacturer being raise to a \u201cbuy\u201d late Tuesday at UBS.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Shares in the plane and train maker have fallen 12% since a disappointing fourth-quarter result last week and news that further production cuts for its regional jets may be a possibility in the weeks ahead.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">However, Tasneem Azim, UBS analyst, notes that the shares now carry the potential of a 19% upside to her one year price target of $6.50 a share. <br \/>\n<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">\u201cWe believe valuation has pulled back &nbsp;sufficiently to warrant our upgrade of the shares,\u201d she said in a note to clients.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Ms. Azim said the valuation may be still negatively impacted in the near term due to a weaker-than-expected outlook. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Verdana, Helvetica, Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">But over the next 12 to 18 months, she said the shares offer an attractive risk-reward due to the anticipated gradual recovery of the business jet market and greater profitability in its train division.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Scott Deveau <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/network.nationalpost.com\/NP\/aggbug.aspx?PostID=419753\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The recent pullback in the valuation of Bombardier Inc. has led the Montreal manufacturer being raise to a \u201cbuy\u201d late Tuesday at UBS.
