Lady Gaga is “terrified” her family will disown her if she acts on her secret desire to date a woman, tipsters close to the star divulged to Britain’s LOOK Magazine<\/em> this week. <\/p>\n

“I think if she admitted she could love a woman and it’s not just part of her act, they’d all be surprised. If Stef’s family rejected her for falling for a woman, she’d be utterly heartbroken. She adores them, especially her younger sister Natalie,”<\/em> says a friend of the pop sensation.<\/p>\n

The “Telephone” singer — who recently told New York Magazine<\/em> that she believes gay people are “born” that way — is said to be struggling with her own sexuality but is worried about the reaction she may receive from her “ultra-traditional Italian Catholic” family. <\/p>\n

Although Lady Gaga’s dance hits built a strong fanbase with gay clubgoers early in her career and the eccentric pop tart has been outspoken about her own tendencies toward women, her family think it’s all “just part of her act,”<\/em> blabbed a tattling pal — who asked not to be identified. <\/p>\n

“Gaga is unsure whether she wants to be with a man or a woman. She’s scared that if she falls for a woman, her family will reject her, because ultimately, they want her to settle down with a man.
