It’s just one of a series of candid remarks Ferg makes on gossip, dieting, and relationships in the May edition of Elle Magazine<\/a><\/em>, on newsstands April 14. <\/p>\n The “Boom Boom Pow” hitmaker, 35, has long faced spiteful taunts about her appearance: “It has hurt in the past when people say things like how ‘fugly’ (f***ing ugly) I am or how horrible I look. Look, when you’re trying to juggle all of this in your life, sometimes you’re not going to look perfect.”<\/em><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Fergie On Curbing Her Appetite<\/strong>: \u201cI\u2019m not going to lie: There are times I play mind tricks on myself, like that the french fries are poison.
