The full Easter season results, which will be revealed at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/heres-the-truth-behind-the-confluence-of-factors-that-caused-the-march-retail-sales-surge-2010-4\">end of April<\/a>, should give a more complete view of where the retail consumer stands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>According to a CEO survey, the numbers of CEO&#8217;s planning to hire new workers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/jobs-employment-this-year-ceos-job-creation-50-2010-4\">increased 50% from Q4 2009 to Q1 2010<\/a><\/strong>. Nearly one third of companies surveyed now plan to hire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Apple announced its new iPhone OS 4.0, which will include support for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/apple-iphone-os-4-2010-4\">multitasking<\/a><\/strong>. Apple stock is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/finance?client=ob&amp;q=NASDAQ:AAPL\">down nearly 0.3% on the day<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/cms\/s\/0\/058cc00c-430f-11df-96c4-00144feab49a.html\">Jobless claims rose unexpectedly<\/a> last week from 18,000 to 460,000 in the U.S.<\/strong>.
