Despite Ferrari\u2019s non-committal stance on their latest supercar, everything from spy shots to artist renderings to option lists have been published on the internet.  Not willing to wait for the car\u2019s official introduction at the Beijing Auto Show later this month, Ferrari has released these images of the production car.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-43016\"><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/ferrari-599-gto-unveiled-ahead-of-beijing-intro\/100040car\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-43023\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/100040car-500x341.jpg\" alt=\"2011 Ferrari 599 GTO\" title=\"100040car\" width=\"500\" height=\"341\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-43023\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/ferrari-599-gto-unveiled-ahead-of-beijing-intro\/100039car\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-43024\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/100039car-500x348.jpg\" alt=\"2011 Ferrari 599 GTO\" title=\"100039car\" width=\"500\" height=\"348\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-43024\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Powered by a 6.0 liter V12 derived from the Ferrari Enzo, the 599 GTO produces 661 horsepower and weighs in at 3,295 pounds.  It can hit 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph) in 3.35 seconds on it\u2019s way to a top speed of 208 miles per hour.  It\u2019s lap time around the Fiorano test track is 1:24, beating the Ferrari Enzo by one full second.  That makes the 599 GTO the fastest street legal Ferrari ever produced.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/ferrari-599-gto-unveiled-ahead-of-beijing-intro\/100038car\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-43025\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/100038car-500x282.jpg\" alt=\"2011 Ferrari 599 GTO\" title=\"100038car\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-43025\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/ferrari-599-gto-unveiled-ahead-of-beijing-intro\/100041car\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-43026\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ridelust.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/100041car-500x313.jpg\" alt=\"2011 Ferrari 599 GTO\" title=\"100041car\" width=\"500\" height=\"313\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-43026\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As with all of Ferrari\u2019s legendary GTO cars, production will be limited.  In the case of the 599 GTO, only 599 units will be built for worldwide distribution.  If the leaked order sheet is correct, pricing will start in the area of $450,000, and I wouldn&#8217;t be a bit surprised if Ferrari reserved sales to existing customers only.
