The yield on the country&#8217;s<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/greece-short-term-bonds-8-percent-yield-2010-4\"> 2-year bonds has come close to 8%<\/a>, suggesting confidence in the country&#8217;s ability to refinance its debts is deteriorating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Its not just Greece experiencing sovereign debt concerns, as Credit Derivatives Research Government Risk Index <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/sovereign-default-risk-jumps-40-in-a-month-2010-4\">jumped 40% over February<\/a><\/strong>. The index measures the risk of France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, the U.K. and the U.S<strong>..<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>18 Wall Street banks have been accused of utilizing similar end of quarter borrowing practices as Lehman Brother&#8217;s Repo 105<\/strong>. The banks include <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/wall-street-masking-debt-levels-2010-4\">Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gold prices are yet again <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/dont-look-now-but-gold-is-in-spitting-distance-of-new-highs-2010-4\">rising<\/a> this morning on the uncertainty still apparent in markets over sovereign debt and inflation concerns<\/strong>. The metal is rising most dramatically against the weakening euro, and has been for some time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Motion Picture Association of America, along with several studios and production companies, is trying <a href=\"http:\/\/news.sky.com\/skynews\/Home\/Business\/Hollywood-Takes-On-Traders-Film-Industry-Opposes-Planned-Exchange-To-Bet-On-Box-Office-Receipts\/Article\/201004215597930?lpos=Business_First_Buisness_Article_Teaser_Region_0&amp;lid=ARTICLE_15597930_Hollywood_Takes_On_Traders%3A_Film_Industry_Opposes_Planned_Exchange_To_Bet_On_Box_Office_Receipts\">to stop the market trading in Hollywood film futures<\/a> from being setup<\/strong>. The market, under consideration by the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, is being pushed by Veriana Ventures and Cantor Fitzgerald.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>DJIA, S&amp;P, and NASDAQ futures are all <a href=\"http:\/\/finviz.com\/futures.ashx\">up<\/a> this morning, along with most dollar denominated metals and energy commodities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>China failed to sell all the debt it hoped to in its Friday auction<\/strong>. The bills were short term, <a href=\"http:\/\/ftalphaville.ft.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/09\/199251\/chinas-two-terrible-t-bill-auctions\/\">273 and 91 days<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>In an apparent snub of the Obama administration, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided <a href=\"http:\/\/gulfnews.com\/news\/region\/palestinian-territories\/netanyahu-cancels-trip-to-obama-s-nuclear-summit-1.610043\">not to attend<\/a> President Obama&#8217;s 47 country conference on international security<\/strong>.
