The two appear clean, not afflicted with mental illness, alcoholism or drugs; in fact, they appear well-educated.<\/p>\n<p>Quite a few years ago, a buddy and I worked our way around our country by washing dishes, busing tables and short-order cooking, among other things. The employers did not expect such employees to stick around very long and were just happy to have some help, even though we were sleeping on the ground and in a car.
