Google Translate (which is phrase-based, as far as I know, and doesn&#8217;t try to parse the input) renders the headline as &#8220;derecho de Hungr\u00eda, el centro y la fecha, obtengan beneficios&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>At first I was puzzled about how <em>far<\/em> could be translated as &#8220;la fecha&#8221; (= &#8220;the date&#8221;), but then I realized that it&#8217;s probably from associating the English phrase &#8220;so far&#8221; with the typical Spanish translation &#8220;hasta la fecha&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>[Hat tip to Evan Harper.]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dan Bilefsky, &#8220;Hungarian Right, Center and Far, Make Gains&#8220;, New York Times 4\/11\/2010: Hungary\u2019s center-right opposition party won first-round parliamentary elections here on Sunday, while a far-right party, whose black-clad paramilitary extremists evoke the Nazi era, made significant gains.
