General Motors is the largest foreign automaker in China and its local venture partners are on track to sell more than 2 million vehicles in the region this year, four years a head of schedule.<\/p>\n
To keep the lead going, GM plans on introducing 25 new or updates models in China by the end of 2011. The new models will include the Chevrolet Volt<\/a> extended-range electric-vehicle in 2011, the company said. GM also said that it plans on adding more hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric-vehicles within the next five years.
