The Polish officials were killed in a plane crash, currently thought to be caused by pilot error, in Russia. <\/p>\n<p>\u0093The loss of the Polish president and his senior military advisors is an absolute tragedy.  President Kaczynski was a virulent anti-communist who really helped his country escape the crushing rule of the Soviets.\u0094 said Sal Russo, the Chief Strategist for Move America Forward. Russo ran the media campaign for independence of Ukraine as it broke away from the Soviet Union. <\/p>\n<p>\u0093Poland has been one of the strongest allies of the US; they have sent troops into Iraq and Afghanistan to help America fight the war on terror, and they are a critical part of our planned missile defense shield. <\/p>\n<p> \u0093President Kacynski was a big proponent of those efforts and we will miss his pivotal leadership. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family, as well as the families of others lost in this tragic accident.
