Here is how it went.<\/p>\n<p>I started at the KFC at the corner of MLK and JEL (Joseph E. Lowery Blvd.):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2980\" title=\"double6\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/files\/2010\/04\/double6-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"double6\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" \/>I got my hot, greasy, Double Down-fragrant bag:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2981\" title=\"double7\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/files\/2010\/04\/double7-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"double7\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" \/>I drove back to the office, all the while thinking, &#8220;Double Down, Double Down, Double Down! Dr. Atkins, I&#8217;m doing this for you!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I opened the bag at my desk and found this. Could it be the sandwich miracle I was hoping for?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2979\" title=\"double5\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/files\/2010\/04\/double5-224x300.jpg\" alt=\"double5\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" \/>I opened it and, to my great surprise, I found this!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2975\" title=\"double1\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/food-and-more\/files\/2010\/04\/double1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"double1\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Okay, kidding.
