The bill is titled &#8220;<strong>End the Mandate<\/strong>&#8221; and the bill number is <strong>HR 4995<\/strong>. The bill&#8217;s text will be available shortly.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.ronpaul.com\/2010-04-12\/ron-paul-repeal-obamas-healthcare-mandate\/#more-5470\">Fox News interview<\/a> <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.ronpaul.com\" >Ron Paul<\/a> described his bill as follows<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Ron Paul:<\/strong> &#8220;I want to get rid of one item to concentrate on, because I think it\u2019s the worst part. And that is the mandate saying that you don\u2019t have a choice anymore. They\u2019re driving everybody into the system. [&#8230;] I want to key in on the one issue, to <strong>legalize freedom of choice, legalize the private option<\/strong> without taking on the whole mess that\u2019s been created.
