Chairman Bernanke also noted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/cms\/s\/0\/2920a486-47d1-11df-a4a6-00144feab49a.html\">high unemployment and a weak housing market<\/a> as other potential drags on the recovery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>JP Morgan&#8217;s earnings have come in above estimates, with the firm making <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/business\/2010\/apr\/14\/jpmorgan-profit-wall-street-bank\">$3.3 billion<\/a>, even though its put away $7 billion to cover bad consumer loans. In other banking news, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/idUSTRE63D2MT20100414?feedType=RSS&amp;feedName=businessNews&amp;utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+reuters%2FbusinessNews+%28News+%2F+US+%2F+Business+News%29\">Lehman Brothers<\/a> is asking for $110 million back in a tax overpay it made in 1999 and 2000. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oil is <a href=\"http:\/\/finviz.com\/futures.ashx\">trading higher<\/a> after the release of a U.S. Energy Information Agency report showing that stockpiles of crude oil are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/oil-back-at-85-a-barrel-after-eia-surprise-draw-2010-04-14?siteid=rss&amp;utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A%20marketwatch%2Fmarketpulse%20%28MarketWatch.com%20-%20MarketPulse%29\">down by 2.2 billion barrels<\/a>.
