The <em>Twilight<\/em> actor is set to co-star with Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon in the upcoming period piece <em>Water for Elephants<\/em>, (based on the historical novel by Sara Gruen) and the film&#8217;s producers have launched an open casting call to hunt for extras.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/100303Z1_PATTINSON_B-GR_05-500x752.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"100303Z1_PATTINSON_B-GR_05\" width=\"500\" height=\"752\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-100675\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-100674\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The casting call will be held this Saturday  April 17 in the City of Angels. Here&#8217;s what the filmmakers are looking for: <em>&#8220;Caucasian men with very 1930s looking period faces,&#8221; <\/em><em>&#8220;African American men with short 1930s period haircuts,&#8221;<\/em> and <em>&#8220;Caucasian women with shoulder length hair or shorter, size 6 or smaller.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/hollywoodcrush.mtv.com\/2010\/04\/12\/robert-pattinson-water-for-elephants\/\">Craigslist posting<\/a> also specifies that applicants have <em>&#8220;no piercings, tattoos, no breast implants, no artificial nails, no highlighted or colored hair.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Water For Elephants<\/em> kicks off filming in Los Angeles later this year for a projected 2011 release.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Attention Robert Pattinson Fans: Here&#8217;s your chance to star alongside the screen heartthrob in his next movie.
