The Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute<\/a> said today it has promoted Kristina Vuori<\/a> to president, from her previous position as executive vice president of scientific affairs. The San Diego-based research center said Vuori will continue to manage her cancer research laboratory and remain director of Sanford-Burnham’s National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center. John Reed<\/a> will continue as CEO of the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute.<\/p>\n
