The company is claiming that the all-electric vehicle will have the same cost of ownership as a conventional diesel-powered vehicle.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.renault-ze.com\/\">Fluence Z.E.<\/a> is powered by a synchronous electric motor with rotor coil. The motor generates about 70KW of power and a maximum torque of 226Nm. The motor is fueled by a 22KWh electric battery bank. An energy recovery system enables the battery to be charged when the car decelerates.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/04\/16\/renault-z_WIvlS_69.jpg\" alt=\"renault z\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The vehicle is claimed to have a range of 160km with a top speed of 135kph.
