That allows me to follow someone who shares both English and Chinese material.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/notes.kateva.org\/2010\/03\/google-translate-2010-marker.html\">Google&#8217;s translation of the Chinese content is usually unreadable<\/a>. Each sentence seems more or less correct, but the sum is incoherent.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Today, however, <a href=\"http:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=en&amp;sl=auto&amp;tl=en&amp;u=http%3A%2F%2Fm.metroer.com%2FMichael_Sandel_Interview%2F&amp;anno=2\">I came across a post I could read<\/a>. The sentences were still a bit stilted, but the paragraphs were coherent. Overall it read like a bilingual native Chinese speaker writing in quite good English.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The trick is that the interview was conducted in English, then human translated to Chinese, then Google machine (statistically) translated back to English.
