China\u2019s philosophy is moving \u201cfrom \u2018climate change is bad, but development is our first priority\u2019 towards \u2018development is our first priority, and climate change may threaten that\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The New York Times <\/em>reported that Obama is hoping the <a rel=\"nofollow\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/cwire\/2010\/04\/19\/19climatewire-obama-wants-senate-to-tackle-climate-bill-af-37578.html\/\">Senate will take on the climate bill<\/a> after financial reform. \u201c\u2019This is one of these foundational priorities from my perspective that has to be done soon,\u2019 Obama said of the climate bill\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Senator Kerry goes over the <a rel=\"nofollow\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.treehugger.com\/files\/2010\/04\/senate-climate-bill-huge-assitance-coal-john-kerry-video.php\">fine points of the climate bill in this video<\/a> posted on <em>Treehugger<\/em>.
