Knome<\/a>, a Cambridge, MA-based genomics sequencing and analysis company, received $5 million from France’s bioM\u00e9rieux<\/a> in exchange for an equity stake. It’s part of a partnership deal in which the French company will use Knome’s technology to develop in vitro diagnostics for cancer and infectious diseases, the companies announced<\/a> today.
