Rally participants get fired up in downtown Springfield<\/a>\u00a0 The State Journal-Register\u00a0– 12:15 p.m.: After several pep speeches at the Save Our State rally outside the state Capitol, ralliers are now marching around the Capitol complex. A leader of the rally says they\u2019re being led in the march by the 125-member Springfield High School marching band.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Unionized state workers were being encouraged to take their lunch hours to attend the rally.<\/p>\n
