Both cars were at the top of their game, and only three points separated winner from loser.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-19638\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>______________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Harvard versus Yale is fine if your notion of a great American rivalry is rooted in stick-and-ball stuff. But if you\u2019re a car guy\u2014sorry, car person\u2014it just doesn\u2019t get any more all-American than Camaro vs. Mustang. On street, strip, or road circuit, this has been a renewable competi\u00adtive resource since the first Camaro made its belated appearance in September of 1966.
