We have expanded our line of butterfly valves with the introduction of the the Type 57LIS, which provides for easy direct replacement of metallic butterfly valves and conforms to ISO-5752 short face-to-face dimensions.<\/p>\n
The Type 57LIS butterfly valve is an industrial quality thermoplastic valve that directly replaces metallic butterfly valves, without any modification to the existing piping system, in applications where metal valves constantly corrode. The face-to-face dimensions of the Type 57LIS (the distance between the two existing flanges), are the same as those of the metal valves that the Type 57LIS replaces.<\/p>\n
Features and Benefits<\/p>\n
Standard model (3″ – 8″) has PVC body and PP disc for better chemical resistance at temperatures higher than can be achieved with PVC.
\nOur 316 stainless steel shaft has full engagement over the entire length of the disc and is a non-wetted part, totally isolated from the media.
\nOnly solid and abrasion-resistant plastic disc and elastomeric liner are wetted parts.
\nISO bolt circle on top flange – no body or stem modifications required for accessories.<\/p>\n
