Rex for the Progressive Automotive X Prize, which is being claimed to be three time more efficient that a Toyota Prius. The E. Rex has a top speed of 144mph and offers a range of about 100 miles. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2010\/04\/24\/e_gSJ62_69.jpg\" alt=\"e\"\/><\/p>\n<p>With an ability to go 0-60mph in less than 5 seconds, the vehicle sports a water-cooled permanent magnet that produces 45KW continuous and 125KW peak power.
