Open  usually wins.\u201d\u00a0 <span id=\"more-14876\"><\/span>The NY Times wondered whether or not the typical customer cares about open versus closed and if it really matters in the end.\u00a0 Rubin believes consumers will, adding, &#8220;When  they can\u2019t have something, people do care.
