The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island is doing something special to celebrate the five-year anniversary of its small (12 seats) underwater restaurant, Ithaa. They are closing it. Well, to the public, anyway. <\/p>\n

The restaurant will be converted into a private dining\/hotel suite so you can act out your Jaws III fantasies four feet below sea level. One caveat (or bonus, depending on your outlook) is that the space gets so bright during the day that the waitstaff and diners need to wear sunglasses during the meal. <\/p>\n
