Both, the Taurus based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.egmcartech.com\/2010\/03\/12\/2012-ford-police-interceptor-officially-revealed-second-utility-model-confirmed\/\">2012 Ford Police Interceptor<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.egmcartech.com\/2009\/10\/05\/2011-chevrolet-caprice-police-patrol-vehicle-taking-over-streets-in-2011\/\">2011 Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle<\/a>, will hit markets in the later part of next year.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-55892\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ford is also planning a Ford Explorer based Police Interceptor as a second police interceptor in its lineup.<\/p>\n<p>Ford has had a pretty strong hold on the police fleet market with the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor taking more than 70 percent of the U.S. market each year.
