{"id":545888,"date":"2010-04-28T08:20:56","date_gmt":"2010-04-28T12:20:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/?p=30412"},"modified":"2010-04-28T08:20:56","modified_gmt":"2010-04-28T12:20:56","slug":"us-cellular-tease-htc-desire-details-and-release-window","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mereja.media\/index\/545888","title":{"rendered":"US Cellular Tease HTC Desire Details And Release Window"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/htc-desire-press2-550x449.png\" alt=\"Desirable\" title=\"htc-desire-press2-550x449\" width=\"550\" height=\"449\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30415\" \/>On their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/USCellular?v=wall&#038;story_fbid=112455015459523\">Facebook<\/a> page today, US Cellular today teased an &#8220;around July&#8221; release for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mobilecrunch.com\/2010\/02\/16\/htc-announces-the-nexus-ones-slightly-cooler-twin-the-desire\/\">HTC Desire<\/a> (previously known as the Bravo).<\/p>\n<p>The device, in case you didn&#8217;t know, is basically a Nexus One in Sheep&#8217;s (or HTC&#8217;s) Clothing (which includes Sense UI), but with a few differences.<\/p>\n<p>There is a little more RAM on the Desire (presumably to fit in the extra bits of Sense UI), and no docking ports, or second-mic-noise-cancelling-tech.<\/p>\n<p>The buttons on the desire are also &#8220;physical&#8221; (as opposed to capacitive), and there is an optical trackpad, rather than a trackball (which is good, because, like old mice balls of yore, the trackball on my Hero is already wearing out. Or getting gunked up. I don&#8217;t really know. But it&#8217;s not working so great anymore&#8230; aaaanywhooooo).<\/p>\n<p>The original announcement is included below:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Hungry for more Android info?
