Ela&nbsp; afeta em todo o mundo aproximadamente 500 milh\u00f5es de pessoas,&nbsp; e segundo a  Soci<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span><span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">da<\/span><span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">de<\/span> Brasil<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>ira <span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">de<\/span> Hip<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>rt<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>ns\u00e3o, <span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">de<\/span>ntr<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span> os fator<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>s <span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">de<\/span> risco para mortali<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">da<\/span><span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">de<\/span>, a hip<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>rt<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>ns\u00e3o <span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>xplica 40% <span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">da<\/span>s mort<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>s por AVC (Aci<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">de<\/span>nt<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span> Vascular C<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>r<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>bral) <span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span> 25% <span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">da<\/span>qu<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>las por do<span class=\"highlightedSearchTerm\">e<\/span>n\u00e7a coronariana. Hipertens\u00e3o arterial \u00e9 a eleva\u00e7\u00e3o dos n\u00edveis da press\u00e3o arterial a valores maiores que 140mmHg por 90mmHg (14 por 9).<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Os fatores causadores, possivelmente s\u00e3o a vida sedent\u00e1ria, o excesso de peso, ingesta elevada de sal, <a href=\"http:\/\/saudepelasplantas.blogspot.com\/2009\/12\/o-estresse-o-inimigo-silencioso.html\">estresse<\/a>, uso abundante de bebidas estimulantes, como o caf\u00e9, ch\u00e1 preto.
